This is the first assignment in the Adobe Photoshop lessons. I was required to complete this assignment and submit my original work to demonstrate my ability to use the basic selection tools to compose a vegetable man or woman.	The purpose of this assignment was to learn how to evaluate the quality of images and demonstrate my ability to use the basic editing tools to improve the image of Captain Cat.	By completing this assignment I was able to demonstrate my ability to combine two images and include a title and my name as being featured in the production.
Explored the Color Adjustment settings to create 6 different images..here is an example of one.	Dr. Ralston demonstrated how to blend two images into one image using images of clouds and books. By completing this assignment I was able to demonstrate my ability to combine two images. The combination of the two images resulted in having half of one image clearly visible gradually changing to reveal the second half of the second image.	By using the layer mask with the brush tool to select and blend only a portion of the couple walking along the beach I was able to create an image of the couple from two separate photos.
Composing a poster require creativity and solid skills of managing layers and using various filters. For this assignment, I assembled a montage of images for a movie poster as I explored layer masks. My had to replace another of the actors in the poster and be clearly visible in the poster. My name also had to replace one of the featured stars on the poster.	Using layer mask tools, I was able layer three different images on one of me swimming for the U. This was an assignment I did for fun.	This assignment was designed to allow myself to select a topic and create a graphic to promote a topic or place related to my future career. This assignment involves preparation of a poster/infographic on a specific topic.
This was an advanced lesson in creating special text effects. I learn to create text with special effects which will be a useful tool in creating eye-catching posters, flyers, and even invitations for my future career.	This was our final Photoshop lesson in creating special text effects. Learning to create text with special effects will be a useful tool in creating eye-catching posters, flyers, and even invitations for my future career. I demonstrated how I can create the word "fire"engulfed in burning hot flames. I used the Wind and Liquefy filter, the Hue and Saturation adjustment layer, and a bit of creative style to create a dynamic demonstration of my skills.	This was a bonus assignment where I practiced my ability to create text effects using the wind filter and layer masks.
