It was a great opportunity to share my experiences as a collegiate athlete with young swimmers with the same aspirations as I had at their age. I was a great role model and mentor for those who needed an extra push. I enjoyed working on improving their strokes and teaching them to have the confidence to race to the best of their ability.

At Carroll Middle School I was a volunteer Special Education Assistant. I graded papers, taught spelling, speech and language lessons. I also assisted students with special needs during study hall hours by either tutoring them and helping them finish homework assignments.
